When meeting clients for the first time it’s often brief and to make sure we are a good fit. And when I blog about my clients–I want to ensure I keep the story about their relationship and engagement as real as possible. The rest of the time we correspond via email going over details before meeting in person and before scheduling a photo shoot. After the engagement session, I feel secure knowing that I made the right decision about being the right photographer to capture not only the engagement shoot, but to capture the upcoming wedding.
So meet Teresa and Chris the lovely couple I got to photograph for this wintery session. What I found refreshing about Teresa and Chris is that they admit that life has not always been picture perfect. There’s been ups and downs throughout the years, but what they convey about their relationship is that it’s endured the test of time. So, they have finally decided to take the leap and make it official. And they look forward to sharing the wedding day with their special family, friends, and their beautiful children.
With that said, Teresa is stepping into the world of planning a magical wedding. She knows what she wants and now is the time to make her dreams come true. So let’s bring out the white horses with wings and let them fly because in the end life is what you give yourself and what you make of it. A wedding is one of the most important steps of a couple’s journey together.
Teresa and Chris: As your photographer I enjoyed this wintery engagement session; it was easygoing and fun. And you both were troopers. I have the best job in the world because I’m given the honor of not only capturing this day, but the wedding day as it unfolds. I know it’s going to be perfect and I look forward to being a part of it and helping make all your dreams come true.
